My project.
For this project, we had to research into propaganda. I started to look into politics and beauty propaganda.
I wanted to look at religious propaganda and how the church will use it to make people believe. I also looked at how they pray on the vunerable and people that are so devoted. I then stumbled on to child molesting cases in the churches.
I started to look at these cases and how these people were effected. While i was looking at these articles, i noticed that the photos of the priests looked normal. These priests looked like normal prieste ( the ones that didnt molest the children), you couldn’t tell the difference unless you had read the articles.
I then started to think about this idea and how i would do it. I started by thinking that normal priests and priests that molester look the same. I wanted to create something that shows this. I then thought of taking a photo of someone dressed up as a priest, and have a caption on the image saying something along the lines of “which of these priest is the abuser” or “Can you spot which priest abuses children” , I will then be printing the image off twice. so people can choose. But the images will be identical.
This is what i am proposing to do.

- Me: You said you weren't going to hurt me.
- Abuser: Of course I did. How else was I supposed to get you in here?
- Me: I don't want this. You promised me. You said I was safe. That you wouldn't be like that other man.
- Abuser: I never promised. And this isn't hurting you. God wants me to heal you.
- Me: You don't know God, and if this is what God wants, then I don't know God either.

Billy Talents - A Devil In A Midnightmass.
This song was about the child molestation by Priest John Geoghan, Who had been arrested for child abuse. The church moved him around from parish to parish, he was convicted for molesting 150 kids over a 30-year span.
Billy Talent have started that this was not an attack on christianity or catholics through song, but they wanted to point out the events of what happened and led to the molestation of these children.

Rappe sentenced the 66-year-old priest to the maximum term allowed by law, but that was reduced to just 479 days after deductions for the time he already served behind bars and credits for prison work and good behavior.
Priests and higher members in the church, are looked up to by children, kids, and young adults, and using their status in the church they can use this to influence kids.
David Price, was molested for 4 years in his high school. After repressing his tramatic expirence for years, he decided to ask the catholic church for an appology. While taking them to court other people who had been molested started to speek out against the church.
